THE Nest thriller on BBC One will no doubt grip viewers with Dan and Emily’s emotional surrogacy storyline.
But fans may also be left wondering where the some of the picturesque locations can be found.
Where is The Nest filmed?
The show is set in inner-city Glasgow, Scotland but was filmed in a number of locations.
There are plenty of shots of the city, including urban high rise blocks.
Emily and Kaya can also be seen sitting on a bench in the botanical gardens of Kibble Palace in the trailer for the series.
A number of scenes were also shot in the Thai restaurant, Chaophraya in the city centre.
Where is the real life house?
The beautiful, huge house that Emily and Dan live in on the Rosneath Peninsula.
This area has always been a draw for wealthy Glaswegians to set up home.
Named, Cape Cove, the luxury beach house is set on the shore of Loch Long and is available to rent.
It has five bedrooms, sleeps ten guests and has an open plan kitchen and large living space.
Boasting views over the Loch, glass walls and even a hot tub.
Loch Long runs between Bute and Argyll- through the natural beauty of a Scottish national park.
The house even has it’s own secluded private beach and jetty.
Emily makes full use of the area when she goes wild swimming in the mornings.
