When is the next Love Island elimination? Latest odds on who’s in danger of being dumped from the villa

LOVE Island eliminations are often sprung on the cast members at the very last minute and can be extremely awkward at times.

Generally, fans of the hit ITV2 reality series can cast a vote to save their favourites and send others home – but sometimes the contestants decide for themselves. Here’s what you need to know about the elimination process.

When is the next Love island elimination?

It’s unclear when the next elimination will take place.

The last Love Island elimination was on July 15, when the Islanders chose to send Joanna home.

Prior to that, it was Marvin, 28, who was the last Islander to lose their place in the villa.

The personal trainer was given the boot on Thursday, July 11, 2019, after the girls chose which boy they wanted to couple up with.

Before his exit, Lucie and George were the last contestants to be voted off the island in an elimination, which took place on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

A night earlier Danny and Jourdan were dumped from the villa after receiving the fewest public votes.

Who is in danger of being sent home next on Love island?

Here’s who’s favourite to go next – odds supplied by Ladbrokes:

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s a little late in the day for the newbies to find love on the island as far as we’re concerned, but with Francesca seemingly safe for now with Curtis, it’s Chris who’s looking most vulnerable.”

He added: “Maura’s night didn’t exactly go according to plan and while viewers want to see her and Curtis coupled up, they may have to wait a while.”

How does the voting system for Love Island work?

Sometimes the elimination happens after a re-coupling, which means the Islanders decide.

However, usually Love Island viewers can take part in all public votes via the free app, once per device.

At the end of an episode, Love Island will reveal if there is an active vote which is usually used to allow viewers to pick who leaves, who returns and which pair will be sent on a date.

The official Love Island app is available to download for Android and Apple iOS users.

It is free to download and use via the iTunes App Store here or on Play Store here.

What days in the week is Love Island on ITV2?

You can get your fix of the show every night on ITV2 from 9pm where the main programme, hilariously narrated by Iain Stirling, will give us the lowdown on all the goings-on in the villa – from couples cracking on to singletons getting mugged off.

Saturday night’s show differs from the rest of the week, as it is a round-up of all the best bits from the villa that week – and maybe some unseen footage.

If that’s not enough, you can also watch Caroline Flack‘s spin off show Aftersun on Sunday nights at 10pm after the main show has aired, where she discusses the latest action with celebrity guests, as well as those eliminated from the villa.
