LOVE ISLAND 2020 wraps up tonight (Sunday, February 23) and will see one couple crowned the winner of the first-ever winter series.

You can get your hands on tickets to the final in South Africa. Read on to find out how.

When is the Love Island 2020 final?

The Love Island 2020 final takes place tonight (Sunday, 23rd February 2020)

The final episode will be an extended version of the show and will air at 9pm until 10.30pm.

Love Island has aired every night (except Saturday)

Last night’s show was narrated by Iain Stirling and instead of the usual format, viewers saw highlights from the final week in the villa and previously unseen Love Island footage.

How do I get tickets for the Love Island 2020 final?

The Love Island final will take place in Cape Town, South Africa at the Love Island villa tonight.

If you wanted to be selected for free audience tickets you needed to apply for them on the Applause website here.

The final will be hosted by Love Island host, Laura Whitmore and will see her announce the winners of this years winter Love Island 2020  series.

What do the winners of Love Island 2020 get?

The winning couple will have the chance to take home £50,000.

Laura Whitmore is expected to enter the villa and offer the winning couple two envelopes-one with the £50,000 prize money, the other with nothing inside.

The contestant with the envelope of cash must then make the choice whether to keep the money or share it with their partner in a game of Love or Money.

So far, no one on Love Island has ever taken the entire cash prize all for themselves.

How long is Love Island 2020 on for?

Usually, Love Island airs for eight weeks.

In 2018, it was extended from seven after it became so popular.

However, this is the first time ITV have aired a winter special of Love Island.

The 2020 winter series was originally meant to last four weeks but this was extended to six.

Why are Love Island doing a winter series?

Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions at ITV, said: “Off the back of a record-breaking year, we’re delighted to be bringing an extra series of our biggest and sunniest show to the 2020 schedule.

“Love Island has proven yet again to be the perfect format that engages younger audiences.

“In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location.”

Where is Love Island 2020 filmed?

The Love Island cast are in a brand new villa in Cape Town, South Africa.

The colour scheme is just as bright as usual, with vibrant oranges, yellows, blues, and pinks complimenting the various neon signs throughout the house.

The house is also a staggering five times bigger than the villa in Mallorca — with several private seating areas for chats and eavesdropping.

The new Love Island villa is worth a huge £5.3million.

The new features included:

  • Boys’ Dressing Room – a place for the guys to get ready and have some lad chat
  • A  hideaway
  • The Dog House – where Islanders slept if they’d been chucked out of their own bed

When is Love Island on TV?

Love Island aired on ITV2 from 9pm every night.

It is the sixth season of the popular reality TV show – and the first of two series to be aired in 2020.

For the 2020 winter edition, Love Island: Aftersun aired every Monday at 10pm after the main show has finished.

Both Love Island and Love Island: Aftersun will also be available to watch on-demand on the ITV Hub.
