What happened in series 5 of Sam and Billie Faiers: The Mummy Diaries?

Series 5 was pretty eventful as it followed the lead-up to Billie and Greg’s Maldives wedding.

Sam threw Billie her final bridal shower which ended up being a pretty raucous event.

Plus Greg made his first red carpet appearance as tensions escalated between the couple in the run up to the nuptials.

And the series even welcomed another famous face, with Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt making an appearance to help the happy couple practice their first wedding dance.

The series culminated in a surprise spa trip for the bride ahead of the big day, as the families prepared to jet off to the Indian Ocean to watch Billie and Greg say their I Do’s.

But it was The Wedding: Wedding Special that really was the main event – as fans were invited into the happy couple’s special moment.

After a brief drama where dad Dave was taken ill on the flight to the Maldives, things get back on track and viewers got to watch as Greg and Billie tied the knot.

What can we expect from series 6 of Sam and Billie Faiers: The Mummy Diaries?

Well, since we followed the run-up to the wedding and we got to see the big day itself in the The Wedding: Wedding Special, this latest series could be focusing on married life for the newlyweds.

And on top of that, the new series could also be following the couple’s honeymoon as they plan and enjoy it.

Plus it’s no hidden secret that Sam is gagging to get engaged to Big Paul.

So maybe there could be a surprise romantic proposal on the cards?

And it would be extra adorable if their gorgeous tots – little Paul and Rosie got involved too.

Since ITV are yet to release any teasers for the upcoming series, we’ll just have to watch this space…

However, we can rest assured that this series will no doubt – like the others – be filled with banter, babies and perhaps a few old barneys too.

When she and Billie were little girls, their parents divorced and their mum remarried.

In 2010, Sam appeared in the very first episode of reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex.

Billie joined the second series of Towie, after her sister Sam had been a big hit in the first season.

In March 2014, Sam announced she was leaving the show at the end of the eleventh series due to a lack of storylines, and to focus more on her personal life.
