Christmas is over, Boxing Day has been and gone and 2020 is around the corner which can only mean one thing if you’re about to hit the shops – get set for the January sales.

Bargains and discounts galore, with about the same number of people piling into the shops to boot, the sales are a staple of any January shopping trip but if you want to bag a good deal on some sought-after products you need to get in there quick. As they say, when it’s gone, it’s gone.

So when do the January sales start and when should you hit the shops to bag the best bargains?

If you feel like some brands haven’t stopped offering discounts since Black Friday then you probably aren’t wrong, but most brands will officially kick-start their sales after Christmas.

Boxing Day usually marks the beginning of widespread sales online and across the high-street, with big brands ramping up their sales in the New Year and throughout January.

Check online to see when specific brands are starting their January sales and look on their websites to find out if the sale has already begun as most items will be discounted online as well as in stores.
