When are JLS going on tour as they announce their reunion?

The news all JLS fans have been hoping for has been confirmed, after the band confirmed they are back together.

Members Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams, JB Gill and Aston Merrygold confirmed the news on Wednesday night’s episode of The One Show in a pre-recorded video message.

‘We are back, we are back together,’ Marvin declared, as JB told viewers they were ‘very excited’ to be appearing on the show on Friday.

And the most exciting news of all came as Marvin confirmed they would be heading off on tour.

But when will they be playing live? Here’s what you need to know…

When are JLS going on tour?

The band are hitting the road in November and December of this year, with Marvin telling The One Show viewers: ‘We can’t wait to be back on tour at the end of this year.’

Tickets go on sale on Friday 21 February from 9am from Ticketmaster, AXS, Gigs and Tours, Live Nation and other outlets.

When did JLS appear on The X Factor?

The band were on the show in 2008, finishing as runners-up to Alexandra Burke.

They went on to sell over 2.3m albums in the UK and had five number one singles – Beat Again, Everybody In Love, The Club Is Alive, Love You More and She Makes Me Wanna.

The group had been dropping hints that they could be reuniting to mark their 10-year anniversary, with JB telling The Sun: ‘This year is a big year for us – our 10 year anniversary.

‘We are all very much in touch, we’re still brothers. We met up recently, a few weeks back, and we’ve always said when the time’s right we could do something, so a reunion… never say never.’
