The YouTubers and long-time friends Jeffree Starr and Shane Dawson have shared some strong words after a disagreement seen in Shane’s YouTube video, The Failure Of Jeffree Star And Shane Dawson.

The two, who are collaborating on an eyeshadow palette called The Conspiracy Collection, ended up having a heated debate over the design of the product.

Make sure you’ve got popcorn nearby…

What’s going on between Jeffree Starr and Shane Dawson?

In Shane’s YouTube video, he was shown several possible options for what the palette could look like.

He didn’t like any of them, and Jeffree, 33. lates confessed that he didn’t like them either, saying: ‘I like how we’re changing ideas right now, it’s awesome.

‘I didn’t like them either. I was waiting for your response then I was going to tell you I hated it.’

Shane, 31, also told the MySpace star that they should have chosen a triangular design, with Jeffree then admitting that he was ‘shocked’ that he had chosen a rectangular design at first.

Jeffree said: ‘When you picked this, I was actually a little shocked, weeks ago.

‘I thought it should be something crazier, but I don’t want to push.’

Shane then brought some stronger words into the conversation, saying:

‘Oh, push me off a f*****g cliff. Literally, we know each other so well now, you can be like, “that’s bad.”’

Later on in the video, Jeffree is shown to be looking stressed as he confessed he wished he’d said his piece earlier, since they were down to ‘the f*****g wire’.

He said: ‘I’m like mad because I should have pushed for the pyramid earlier. I’m just glad it’s not, like, too late and we have to sell something we don’t wanna do, I’d rather just not do it and push it.’

Again, Shane brought some strong words into the fray, saying at around the 40-minute mark: ‘Literally, next time spit in my face.

‘Just say, “You’re stupid.”’

This trouble in paradise didn’t last too long however as the friends were soon seen laughing and joking with each other again and they were able to agree on a final palette design, with Jeffree saying: ‘I’ll never hesitate again, sir.’

The design is due to be revealed in Shane’s next YouTube video.

When it comes to YouTube drama, Shane and Jeffree have seen their fair share of controversies over their years in the public eye.

Following the start of their recent series The Beautiful World Of Jeffree Star, some viewers branded the pair ‘racist’, and argued that they shouldn’t have their platform.

These past controversies include historic tweets in which Jeffree used racist slurs – he since apologised in a video in which he called his comments ‘disgusting, vile, nasty and embarrassing’ – and old videos in which Shane used blackface to portray characters such as Wendy Williams and Chris Brown.

Shane has also since apologised, saying in a video called My Apology (Blackface & Offensive Videos): ‘The biggest thing I learned is just because it didn’t offend my audience doesn’t mean it isn’t offending massive amounts of people outside of my audience.’

He added: ‘I made a mistake, I shouldn’t have done that. I shouldn’t have put makeup on my face to look black, I shouldn’t have done it. It wasn’t mean-spirited, it wasn’t malicious, it was just stupid and offensive.’

Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star’s Conspiracy Collection goes on sale on 1 November.
