What time is the Top Gear Christmas Special on TV?

The Top Gear Christmas special will be airing tonight, Sunday 29 December, at 9pm on BBC Two.

The special will see hosts Freddie Flintoff, Paddie McGuinness and Chris Harris get up to automotive mischief in Nepal.

The presenters will be undertaking a five-day trek from Kathmandu to the Forbidden City of Lo Manthang.

As if that’s not enough, they’ll have to take the road trip on in a tiny old Renault, a tiny old Peugeot and Nepal’s first – and as-yet only – locally-built car.

The gang will have to face high mountains and mudslides and cross rivers and gorges to complete their journey.

These are terrains which would pose a challenge to even the most skilled driver behind the wheel of one of the toughest trucks money could buy – so how will this lot get on?

The Top Gear Christmas Special will air tonight at 9pm on BBC Two.
