The Christmas Day episode is entitled A Wonderful Mammy, and takes its cue from It’s A Wonderful Life, with Agnes (O’Carroll) somehow in everyone’s bad books.

All of which leaves her pondering what life might have been like if she’d never been born – with an angel called Clyde (Kennedy) offering her the chance to see just that, and leaving her in a world she doesn’t recognise where nobody recognises her.

Meanwhile the New Year episode, Orange Is The New Mammy, sees Agnes facing a dilemma after learning that her arch nemesis Peggy Piper the Pernod Poisoner has been released from prison.
