Arsenal will be looking to get their pre-season campaign off to a flying start with victory in their first game of the summer against Colorado Rapids in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Gunners resumed training on July 6 and flew out to the United States to acclimatise to conditions before facing the MLS outfit in their first game of pre-season.
The US side’s match with Arsenal is sandwiched between two league games and the friendly may come as a welcome break for a Rapids team currently bottom of the Western Conference.
The Europa League finalists are aiming to put a mediocre 2018/19 campaign behind them.

It was always going to be a season of transition under new boss Unai Emery, but a fifth-place Premier League finish and poor performances in the domestic cups did little to please Arsenal fans.
The highlight was reaching the Europa League final, but an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to rivals Chelsea left a bitter taste in the mouth of everyone affiliated with the North London club.
It doesn’t get any easier for Arsenal as they travel to America on the back of club captain Laurent Koscielny refusing to travel as he wants to leave the club. Hopefully matters on the pitch can detract from matters off it for Arsenal.
