What Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane did in Liverpool dressing room after Burnley incident

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah immediately made up after their little dispute at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Mane was very upset when he was substituted five minutes before full time in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Burnley because Salah didn’t pass him the ball moments earlier even though he was in a perfect position to score.

The Senegal international appeared frustrated on the bench as he shouted and gestured at his team-mate even though the Reds had the victory locked in.

According to The Athletic, however, the two stars made amends immediately after the referee’s whistle.

A source claims this was no longer an issue once the players went back to the dressing room.

It was also suggested that Mane and Salah forgot about it and had a pleasant chat in the locker room.

The source said: “It wasn’t even an issue by the time the players got back to the dressing room.

“Sadio and Mo were chatting and everything was fine.

“It was just in the heat of the moment.

“It’s all forgotten.

“It was a storm in a teacup.”

Mane scored Liverpool’s second goal against Burnley after 37 minutes.

The winger hit the net just four minutes after Chris Wood saw the ball deflect in off his back beyond Nick Pope from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross.

Roberto Firmino scored the visitors’ third goal just 10 minutes before full time.
