What Jack Fincham’s social media behaviour ‘really means’ following Dani Dyer split

Love Island stars Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham have found themselves at the centre of the headlines this week.

It comes after Dani, 23, was pictured snogging a man, who was reportedly her ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, 23.

The steamy liaison came just 20 days after Jack and Dani called time on their relationship.

Following the snaps emerging, Jack shared a cryptic quote on Instagram, seemingly referencing the pics.

It read: “When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening.

“When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening.

“That’s where the power is.”

Jack was also less-than-direct on Twitter, choosing to ‘like’ a series of supportive tweets from fans, rather than speaking out.

One comment read: “One of her ex’s did say she was all about fame and I think Jack was always more into her then she was him and I think that’s why she unfollowed Jack’s parents – she’s not who I thought she was.”

While another read: “Love being blocked by Dani for pointing out the obvious. All I can say is Jack Fincham you had a lucky escape.”

So what does his seemingly passive behaviour reveal? Matchmaker and Relationship Expert Sarah Ryan revealed all to Daily Star Online.

She said: “First, I think perhaps it can be far too painful to keep looking/seeing photos of an ex. Photos are a strong pull to nostalgia and can hold us in a place of not moving forward during a breakup.

“Also, when one has been publicly shamed (which is how he might feel following the photos of Dani kissing her ex) he might feel too embarrassed to have those snaps on his feed. He doesn’t want pity, he wants the support of his fans and to be graceful in a painful process of a breakup can be quite powerful for his personal and professional life.

“I can imagine he is angry and doesn’t want to show that publicly so perhaps his cryptic messages and liking of ‘savage tweets’ may be him acting in a passive aggressive manor and perhaps he wants to play good cop in the public eye to still be the nations heartthrob – we all know with reality tv shows that celebs don’t stay in the spotlight for long – this is a good crisis management tactic for celeb success and aside from his public status, is a good way to stay positive and look towards his future for a more loyal, loving and long-lasting relationship.
