Katie Price clearly isn’t letting her recent bankruptcy declaration get her down, as she continued her New York City shopping spree alongside boyfriend Kris Boyson.

All week we’ve seen the couple take the Big Apple by storm with a range of extravagant spending jaunts – but they keep things thrifty by taking the subway.

It’s all about the high and low; the balance.

The 41-year-old reality star was seen in a swanky Steve Madden shoe store on Thursday, with the mother-of-five wearing a faux-fur coat with leather trousers and a turtleneck.

She seemed quite taken with some sparkly bags that happened to catch her eye, as she cruised past the kicks on offer.

While it’s not clear if she bought any funky wares, the star looked to be in pretty good spirits – as it was earlier claimed she was using this trip to scope out a potential US takeover.

After a brief split, Katie and Kris, 31, appeared to be on good terms as they left the kids in Blighty, with shopping evidently the language of love.

Before heading to Steve Madden, the pair were seen checking out discount diamonds during a previous window-shopping adventure.

While they were briefly engaged before splitting – and recoupling before this trip – it’s not clear if they were getting excited about diamond rings in that store.

Their trip Stateside comes as sources claim Katie plans on spending more time in the US to relaunch a career there.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Katie has been saying that after everything that has happened to her in the past few months that her future might lie elsewhere.

‘She loves America and would love to film some of her new TV show. She thinks US viewers would like her and it could be a way of making money.

‘Katie loves all the Housewives of America shows. She thinks all the people who watch that would enjoy seeing how she lives her life.’

Last month Katie was formally declared bankrupt, just weeks before Christmas.

The star was supposed to pay £12,000 in debt off every month for four years to her creditors after taking out an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) last year.

However, she has failed to do so. Katie was declared bankrupt today during a hearing at the Insolvency and Companies Court in London.

The mum now faces losing her infamous ‘mucky mansion’, which is worth an estimated £2 million, and having her assets sold.

Back in 2018, Katie miraculously swerved bankruptcy by entering an IVA after facing £22,000 in debt. Despite the threat of bankruptcy, Katie has been carrying out renovations on her Sussex mansion, believed to be in an effort to sell the house.
