If you were waiting until 2020 to buy a Nintendo Switch, you may have found yourself out of luck as the console has been out of stock at most major retailers since Christmas.

Despite the console releasing three years ago, many retailers have had no choice but to only offer it on pre-order this month, due to its unavailability.

So, for everyone who missed last year’s Black Friday offers, are there any good Nintendo Switch deals at the moment, and more importantly – who is actually stocking it?

Does Currys PC World stock Nintendo Switch and what deals does it have?

If you’re not bothered about a bundle and are just after the console, Currys PC World have the Neon Red & Blue console available for £279.

Alternatively, the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Bundle is currently priced at £323.00 with a six month Spotify subscription thrown in for new Premium accounts.

For an extra £12, you can purchase the bumped-up bundle which includes a £25 Nintendo eShop gift card. The Spotify subscription is not part of this offer, though.

Any stock problems seem to be resolved, as the console is readily available on the site and available to collect in store immediately.

Does Argos stock Nintendo Switch and what deals does it have on its bundles?

While it’s not marked as out of stock on its website, the Nintendo Switch wasn’t available for delivery or pick up at any store we tested across the country.

They do stock the Switch Lite Handheld consoles, priced at £199, though.

Argos also has a few Nintendo Switch accessories and add-ons on sale, such as the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 01 Variety kit, which is half price at £29.99.

This allows you to build cardboard creations using instructions on your Nintendo Switch.

Does Amazon stock Nintendo Switch and what deals does it have on its bundles?

Amazon currently stocks the console with the grey version priced at £274, but the delivery time-frame is pretty vague as it states it will be ‘usually dispatched within 1 to 4 weeks.’

There are no stand-out offers available and their Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle clocks in at an eye watering £397.95.

What other UK retailers stock Nintendo Switch?

CEX sells the console for the somewhat inflated price of £300, which won’t save you any money, but it’s worth always checking to see if they add more (and cheaper) items online at a later date.

GAME has some pretty good deals, including the Football Manager bundle for £299, but their bundles are all currently only available to pre-order. They will ‘release’ tomorrow, Friday 24 January.

It’s not clear why there were stock issues, but following rumours there may be a new Nintendo Switch out this summer, some people may opt to wait.
