Wendy Williams offered fans an insight into her love life on Friday, as she documented her dinner date with rumoured boyfriend William Selby on Instagram.

The talk show host finalised her divorce from Kevin Hunter earlier this year, after marrying in 1997.

Good to see she’s moving on.

‘He sent his car for me,’ the star told fans on Instagram.

‘Dinner in pursuit. Happy Friday!’

She later shared her choice of meal: ‘3 meatballs plus good company equals danger!’

Wendy is a mum to one son, Kevin Hunter Jr, who is 19.

The evening out follows Wendy receiving heat from audiences when she claimed on the The Wendy Williams Show this week that men shouldn’t wear skirts, dresses and heels.

Speaking on 13 February 2020, she said: ‘You don’t get a mense[s] every 29 days.

‘You can do a lot that we do, but I get offended by the idea that we go through something you will never go through. And stop wearing our skirts and our heels.’

She went on: ‘Just saying, girls, what do we have for ourselves? Looky here now, gay men, you’ll never be the woman that we are. No matter how gay, sir.’

After offending gay men and trans women by implying only those who menstruate should be able to wear such clothing, Wendy issued a tearful apology the following day.

‘I’m not out of touch. Except for perhaps yesterday by saying what I said.

‘I deeply apologise and I deeply appreciate the support that I get from the community. I will do better.’
