Summer 2020 was starting to look like a season of no nuptials, until this week, when the government announced that 30-person weddings are firmly back on the cards.

And I don’t know about you, but the last few months have me craving some celebratory colour and vivacity. From the perfect lime green maxi to some seriously fabulous stilettos, here’s the wedding guest clobber I’ll be shopping in the sales.

12 hours of wedding can be a little tough on the tootsies, which is why I often prefer to wear a lower stacked heel. These Topshop babies are perfect for pairing with flowing maxis and a ridiculous bargain in the sale.

OK, these are a little punchier on the heel height front, but just look at that amazing hourglass heel! It’s going to be totally worth it for the overall vibe-boosting fabulousness they’ll give any outfit.

The Shrimps Antonia bag was the wedding guest accessory of last summer, and this year the brand is back with a bevvy of beaded arm candy in new silhouettes. This red shoulder sizzler’s just begging to be taken to the love fest.
