We need to be thankful Liam Gallagher never learned how to drive

It seems we need to be very grateful Liam Gallagher never learned how to drive.

The former Oasis frontman, 47, never got his license (why the need when you can have a chauffeur at the drop of a phone call) and has revealed it’s for a very good reason.

Seems he knew he’d wipe out everyone on the road – including himself.

Yep, that’s a solid reason to stay in the passenger seat.

‘No [I can’t drive],’ he recently told GQ magazine.

‘That’s why I’m still alive. Can you imagine me driving? Nah. “Ey! I can f**kin’ drive!” Boom! I’d have killed us all years ago.’

He continued to explain it’s part of the reason he’s remained in the UK and never moved to the States.

That and he loves having all four seasons here, and hates the ‘rules’ imposed on the US.

‘Not for me, no way. It’s nice coming here but there’s too many rules. I got told off to take my f**king hat off the other day in the Beverly Hills Hotel after they f**king rinsed me 800 quid for a f**king club sandwich which was the size of that f**king table. And there was two of them. I only wanted one.’

That’s passion.

‘You know with food when you’re f**king’ hungry and they bring loads of it? I bit a little into the middle of it like a f**king rabbit and I was f**king full up, man,’ he continued colourfully.

‘I had a pint and the kids had a burger, then we went to the bar for a cocktail, and the geezer’s going, “Can you take your hat off?” I was like, “You didn’t want me to take me f**king hat off when I was f**king forking out 800 quid for a f**king burger.” I ain’t taking me f**king hat off to sit at the bar. I’m going home.

‘When you wear a hat, you wear a hat, don’t ya? It’s not an on and off job, is it? You commit, innit. You get f**king bedhead and s**t. I get it, those were his rules, but f**k it. And nah I couldn’t live out here, man. I need all seasons. Plus I don’t drive.’

Well there you have it.

Anyway, here’s Wonderwall.
