We make the biggest savings on day at the world’s biggest Primark in Birmingham — plus win two FREE tickets to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort worth up to £120

WHEN it comes to shopping, bigger is often better.

And Primark has just opened its largest store yet, in Birmingham.

We visited the world’s biggest Primark in Birmingham where shopping is an experience like no other

Spanning five floors, it includes a restaurant, Disney cafe and even a barber shop.

After visiting this week, I can confirm it is incredible.

And it got us thinking about how bigger stores mean bigger savings.

  1. ONE-STOP SHOP: Visiting a larger branch or flagship store means everything is in one place. The new Primark doesn’t just have clothes but also a hair salon and “lab” for making custom T-shirts, too. You can get a blow dry at Duck & Dry Xpress for £20. A blow-dry with a stylist at Rush Hair, for example, costs £30. SAVE: £10.
  2. WIDER RANGES: Bigger stores usually offer different product ranges to smaller local ones. For example, B&M in Leytonstone, East London, has a garden centre attached. Currently, you can pick up the Flymo Visimo rotary lawnmower and trimmer twin-pack for £69.99, down from £89.99. SAVE: £20.
  3. MORE STOCK: Struggling to find an item in your size? Is that one candle range never on the shelves in your local store? More space equals more stock. Homesense’s flagship store in Dudley, West Mids, stocks the best of its interiors range. I have been eyeing up its grey bedroom side tables, which look like Maisons du Monde’s £59 tables but cost just £29.99. SAVE: £29.01.
  4. PARKING: Larger stores have more space to park, too. The West Quay retail park in Southampton has a Matalan and a Wilko. You can park free for 30 minutes (with a ticket) or 60 minutes after 6pm. It normally costs £1. This is great if you need a quick pitstop. SAVE: 50p with 30 minutes of free parking.
