- Esports apparel maker We Are Nations has signed a partnership with Walmart’s online store.
- Merchandise from partnered teams such as G2 Esports and OpTic Gaming is available to purchase via the Walmart Marketplace.
- The Walmart Marketplace just launched an Esports Fan Shop with items from numerous teams.
Esports apparel company We Are Nations today announced a partnership with Walmart, which sees the brand selling merchandise through the Walmart Marketplace online store.
We Are Nations currently has apparel and other branded merchandise from partnered teams such as G2 Esports, OpTic Gaming, Misfits, and Team MVP available through Walmart Marketplace, as well as FACEIT’s ECS league. The company also has items from its own Nations apparel brand available for purchase.
The partnership announcement coincides with the launch of the Walmart Marketplace’s Esports Fan Shop, which features more than 1,000 items including jerseys, hats, and pennants. Other featured sellers include ESL Shop and Fanatics, and the Esports Fan Shop also sells the recently-announced, exclusive licensed Red Bull-branded headband based on popular Fortnite streamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.

“Having a mainstream retailer like Walmart recognize the importance and impact of esports is a huge benefit for the esports merchandise industry by helping to reach non-endemic fans,” said Caroline Engel, We Are Nations director of marketing and communications, in a statement to The Esports Observer. “It’s great to see the wide range of products available on the Esports Fan Shop, and Nations is proud to be included.”
Walmart’s Esports Fan Shop currently lists categories for more than 20 teams, including Cloud9, FaZe Clan, NRG, and Natus Vincere, with more to come according to the retailer. This is the latest esports-centric initiative from Walmart, which recently opened Esports Arena venues in select stores and also exclusively sells Esports Arena’s OVERPOWERED line of gaming PCs.
