Watch what happens after Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington passionately kisses Emilia Clarke

Kit Harington gagged after kissing Emilia Clarke in behind-the-scenes footage filmed on the set of Game of Thrones.

The actor, who plays Jon Snow, retched after separating from Clarke as they shared a passionate embrace in the season eight premiere.

A new video posted by the HBO show gave fans a glimpse of green-screen filming with Harington pretending to be sick after the pair locked lips.

The video was posted the same day as Harington admitted that it was “really odd” to kiss co-star Clarke after becoming such good friends on the show

Odd: Kit Harington revealed that it felt strange to kiss his “great friend” Emilia Clarke (HBO)

Harington, 32, confessed that there was “an element of weirdness” about the romantic scenes because he is close to Clarke, who is also good friends with his wife Rose Leslie

“Emilia and I had been best friends over a seven-year period and by the time we had to kiss it seemed really odd,” he told the Mirror.

“Emilia, Rose and I are good friends, so even though you’re actors and it’s your job, there’s an element of weirdness when the three of us are having dinner and we had a kissing scene that day.”

He added: “She’s wonderful and I love Emilia and I’ve loved working with her. And it’s not hard to kiss her, is it?”

During the same video, Harington also recalled the eye-watering moment he was swung around by his testicles on a mechanical dragon

“Buck work is not easy. I think what sums up the buck for me was there was a bit where Jon almost falls off,” he said. “It swings round really violently and my right ball got trapped and I didn’t have time to say stop and I was being swung round.”

“In my head I thought ‘this is how it ends, on this buck swinging me round by my testicles’. Literally.”

Game of Thrones airs at 2am and 9pm on Mondays on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
