Watch: Little boy confronts aircraft passenger after they pull 'stinky' move

Air travel can be a fast and efficient way of getting around the world in record time. However, one bad move from a passenger can change the in-flight experience completely. One young flier learned this first hand when he found himself with an unexpected addition to his seat. The little boy was travelling on an unnamed flight when the passenger behind him decided to take up some of his personal space, resulting in his reaction which has been deemed “heroic”.

A video taken by the young traveller’s father and posted to Instagram account @PassengerShaming shows the moment one travellers naked feed stirred a response from the little boy.

Sat in the window seat of what appears to be an economy cabin, the little boy is shocked when the traveller behind him slides their bare feet through the gap between his chair and the wall of the plane.

The passenger in the row behind is using his armrest as their own footrest.

In the video, the child can be seen turning around to look in horror at the set of toes which have taken up residency on his armrest.

He then turns back to the camera to convey his reaction.

“There is stinky feet behind me,” he says, a slight smirk on his face.

Fellow travellers have flocked to the comments section of the video to share their support for the little boy, with some even hailing him a “hero”.

“That young man is fabulous! Stinky!” wrote one video viewer.

Another applauded his behaviour, saying: “Need more of this… shame it’s the children that have to tell adults how to act.”

Meanwhile, another commenter points out: “The voice on the speaker says “Please prepare departure”. This plane isn’t even in the air yet and she has her shoes off and feet up. Somehow even more rude.”

Richter describes in his tweet how his requests for the man to remove his toes from the television were repeatedly denied, even after the crew stepped in.

He tells the tale of how he “snitched” on the male to a flight attendant “who told him to put them down.”

Alas, just a few minutes later the man put his feet back on the screen.

“They’re your bare feet, man,” Richter said to the passenger.

At first, the man seemed shocked and withdrew his feet.

Unfortunately just minutes later “he just put them back up” instigating Richter’s angry tweet.

Viewers of the tweet were enraged, pointing out a lack of manors, with one person going so far as to call for “public shaming.”

The user wrote: “Got to start taking pictures of the people’s faces man. Public shaming and humiliation needs to be brought back.”
