WATCH: easyJet baggage handler shocks with bizarre activity in cargo hold

An easyJet baggage handler was caught on camera at Manchester Airport making the most of few minutes of spare time and fitting in a quick workout. The employee was filmed doing push ups in the cargo hold of an easyJet plane while luggage was being loaded into the aircraft. He can be seen rapidly performing the move as suitcases travel up the conveyor belt towards him from the ground. A viral video of the episode was captured by passenger Andy Lee who was waiting in a nearby departure lounge at Manchester.

He saw the baggage handler manage to do 20 reps before the man leapt up to grab the approaching luggage on the conveyor belt.

It is not known what happened after the set of push ups as the video footage comes to an end.

Lee shared the video on Twitter with the caption: “easyJet employee making the most of his spare time between loads #morningvibes.”

A spokesperson for easyJet told Express.co.uk: “We are aware of the video and have raised it with our ground handling services supplier at Manchester Airport.”

This is far from the first time baggage handlers’ behaviour has caused surprise.

Last year two Saudi Arabia airport employees shocked the internet after they were caught on camera violently manhandling passengers’ suitcases.

Footage of the two baggage handlers for Saudi Airlines went viral after their disrespectful behaviour was filmed.

The men were seen unloading luggage onto a conveyor belt at the airport.

They swing the suitcases onto the moving belt with such force that some smash into the wall first before falling onto the conveyor.

The handlers show no consideration for the contents of any of the suitcases.

They don’t pause at any point to check whether the bags are labelled as ‘fragile.’ The scene was filmed at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

However, in further easyJet news, Martin Lewis, 46, revealed to ITV’s Good Morning Britain audiences that easyJet is releasing their new flights today.

This is one of the few opportunities throughout the year where Britons can get their hands on tickets before prices shift depending on demand.

The Money Saving Expert urged those looking to get away between October 2019 and March 2020 to make the most of the cheap flights.

He recommended looking throughout the day as prices could vary.

Lewis noted that the last time tickets were released one of his fans managed to save well over a thousand pounds on easyJet flights.
