WATCH: Actor dragged from plane after outburst dubbing fellow passengers ‘plebs’

Travelling by plane comes with its ups and downs. While luxurious for some, long journey times and jet leg can leave others feeling not quite themselves. Russian actor Lidiya Velezheva was caught on camera during an outburst on a recent flight. The celebrity was filmed being dragged from the aircraft by police as she dubbed her fellow flyers “plebs”. The video, which has gone viral, shows the actor in the business class cabin of an Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Tel Aviv.

Ryanair has previously attempted to prevent intoxication on their planes by asking airports to stop selling alcohol before 10am.

They also suggested a two-drink policy per passenger which could be regulated by scanning boarding passes.

At present, airports do not need to abide by the Licensing Act, which determines when they can start selling alcohol.

However, the number of alcohol-related incidents has risen by almost 400 percent over the last five years.

Civil Aviation Authority figures reveal around 400 incidents annually but data from specific airlines suggests this figure is closer to 4,000.

That equates to more than 10 drink-induced outbursts a day.
