Warcraft 3 Reforged beta: When does WC3 beta start? Spoils of War release news at BlizzCon

Blizzard has decided to kick off the first significant multiplayer Warcraft 3 Reforged beta the same week as BlizzCon 2019.

And that has raised a lot of hopes that we might find out when Warcraft 3 Reforged will be releasing on Battle.Net.

So far, we have only been told that the WC3 Multiplayer beta is starting very soon and that fans will be able to play it during all the BlizzCon celebrations.

And we have also found that some great extra content is coming to those fans who have pre-ordered the Spoils of War Edition of the game.

WHEN IS WARCRAFT 3 REFORGED BETA STARTING?

The Warcraft 3 Reforged multiplayer beta is starting the week of October 29 and is set to included limited content.

This was the news shared today by Blizzard, who have yet to confirmed a set release time.

And this might be because players will be joining the beta in waves during the same week BlizzCon 2019 kicks off.

There’s a good chance that Blizzard will time access to the new beta along with the start of BlizzCon 2019, with the opening scheduled for Friday, November 1.

There’s a good chance that Blizzard will time access to the new beta along with the start of BlizzCon 2019, with the opening scheduled for Friday, November 1.

However, for now, we have no exact timing for when things will be kicking off on Battle.Net and its possible things could happen sooner.

The WarCraft 3 Reforged beta will not include any single-player content and will be focused on multiplayer battles.

Invites will start going out this week and these will be limited to those fans who have pre-ordered the Spoils of War Edition.

Access will then be expanded to other gamers, with more content being planned for the coming weeks.

A new press release confirms that only Orcs and Humans will be playable when the multiplayer goes online.

“The multiplayer beta for Warcraft III: Reforged is about to start, with limited access to the orc and human races within 1v1 and 2v2 matchmaking.

“The undead and night elf races, and more game modes will be added in the weeks ahead.

“Invitations to the multiplayer beta will be sent out over the coming weeks. Initial invitations will go out in waves to players who have pre-purchased the Spoils of War edition of the game and subsequent waves of invitations will go to additional players, such as those who have pre-purchased the standard edition of Warcraft III: Reforged.”

No announcement was made on whether other players will get access, like those who are attending BlizzCon this year.

In addition to access to the beta, owners of the Spoils of War edition get a few additional perks.

Beyond the Meat Wagon mount in World of Warcraft; Thrall, Anub’arak, Jaina and Tyrande in Heroes of the Storm, and the Third War card back in Hearthstone, the Spoils of War edition also contains:

Warcraft III: Reforged Skins

  • Champion of the Horde Thrall
  • Daughter of the Seas Proudmoore
  • Fallen King Arthas
  • Emerald Nightmare Cenarius

Overwatch

  • Player Icons: Human, Orc, Undead, Night Elf and Lich King
  • Animated Sprays: Footman, Grunt, Ghoul and Archer
  • Diablo III: Mal’ganis pet
  • StarCraft II Console Skins
  • StarCraft: Remastered: Spoils of War Console

Fans are also hoping that the full Warcraft 3 Reforged release date will be confirmed during BlizzCon 2019.

This isn’t guaranteed but it won’t certainly prove popular with fans to learn if they will be playing Warcraft 3 campaign during early 2020 or not.
