JOSE MOURINHO is plotting his return to management – but he’s still waiting for the right team to call him up.
The 56-year-old has rarely been seen without his phone glued to his hand since he was axed by Manchester United in December.
Mourinho revealed earlier this month that he has already turned down “three or four job offers.”
The 56-year-old has set his sights on returning to management in June ahead of the 2019/20 season.
And like anybody who is anxiously waiting for the right job offer, Mourinho has not let his phone out of sight.
Whether he is strolling down the street or watching football from the stands, he always looks ready to answer the call.
The Special One has been named as a potential candidate to take over at PSG if Thomas Tuchel is axed at the end of the season.
He has managed across four European countries, but is yet to make his name in France.
Mourinho is desperate to become the first manager to win the Champions League with three different teams and the Ligue 1 leaders could offer this opportunity.
He told Canal+: “I can imagine myself as a coach in Ligue 1. I am a man who has worked in four different countries.
“I like to know other cultures. Working in a new championship would be fantastic experience.”
Reports have also suggested that French club Lille could be his next destination.
He was heavily linked with a sensational return to Real Madrid, but he must have missed the call before Zinedine Zidane was appointed.
