THE first mulled wine spa in the world has opened in the UK – and you can visit this Christmas.

Located at Shrigley Hall in Cheshire, you can enjoy a hot tub, massage and free glass of mulled wine as part of the experience.

Launched by Spa Seekers, the spa session includes the mulled wine hot tub, the first of its kind, with orange, cinnamon and star anise infusions to ‘detox’ the body.

A festive massage is also included, with a 45 minute session using Frankincense oils, while a cinnamon and orange body scrub is also on offer.

A free glass of the booze is also given to each guest to finish it off.

To take advantage of the Christmassy spa day, you can book it now for just £60 which includes all of the sessions and treats.

If you want to book a whole weekend of it, you can stay t Shringley Hall in the Peak District with spa breaks – including one night at the hotel as well dinner and breakfast – from £208.

Standard rooms start from £65 per night, with bookings being taken from December 3 when the UK lockdown is set to end.
