Vikings season 6: Hvitserk's conversion to Christianity confirmed in soundtrack clue?

With Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) potentially killed after a surprise Rus attack, things aren’t looking good for Kattegat. Fans of the History series have a long way to go, but Vikings may have leaked another major twist for season six.

There has already been a lot of bloodshed throughout the ongoing season of Vikings, with both minor and major characters being killed off.

Hvitserk (Marco Ilso) has caused some major issues for Kattegat in season six, having joined Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) to storm the beach.

However, it was Ivar who eventually dealt the killing blow in the midseason finale.

As Vikings teases some major revelations for the second half of season six, with even Alexander adding fuel to the fire by suggesting Bjorn will still be present in some way, fans are looking for clues in every corner.

Sometimes they can arise in the most unlikely places, namely the leaked tracks for the upcoming season’s soundtrack.

Devoted fans will know that the score for the series is composed by the talented Trevor Morris, who combines traditional Nordic folk music with modern action motifs.

Unfortunately, the titles for Trevor’s tracks can occasionally let slip some juicy spoilers.

One fan took to Reddit to speculate on a particular title that has raised eyebrows in the Vikings fandom.

Ragnar doesn’t fully convert, but a touching moment sees Athelstan teach Ragnar the Lord’s Prayer.

The series doesn’t purport to be fully accurate, but it does attempt to gradually map out how the Nordic warriors eventually abandoned their old gods in favour of more modern theism.

An additional Redditor mentioned that spoilers have been leaked regarding Hvitserk’s conversion, with another adding: “Yeah I looked it up, I’m curious why Hvitserk is choosing to do it.”

If the leak does turn out to be true, it wouldn’t be the first time one of Trevor’s tracks has spoiled plot details for Vikings fans.
