Available now for Season Pass owners, the SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack 1 adds a brand new level inspired by the movie in which players can harness the powers of Shazam and several other fan-favorite characters to take down the evil Dr. Sivana. The press release teases the ability unleash Shazam’s powerful abilities along with the opportunity to play as four additional characters who embody the sins of man.
Players will jump into the action and begin their journey as Billy Batson and Freddy Freeman to fight against the evil Dr. Sivana! The pack includes the ability for Billy Batson to transform into Super Hero Shazam, using his powerful abilities of flight, strength, projectiles, electric beam and more. Players can also see Freddy transform and take on Shazam powers, and unlock the four characters embodying the sins of man including Gluttony, Wrath, Pride, and Envy. These six characters will expand the main game’s already large roster of over 150 iconic DC characters.
As the name suggests, the SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack 1 is the first of two planned DLC packs for LEGO DC Super-Villains. The SHAZAM! Movie Level Pack 2 is slated to arrive on April 23, 2019, and will also add a new level and even more characters.
The SHAZAM! Movie DLC is part of the Season Pass for LEGO DC Super-Villains, already available for $14.99 or included with the Deluxe Edition of the game. The Season Pass offers a total of six level packs and four character packs. Alternatively, you can purchase the Shazam! Movie DLC as a standalone bundle for $5.99, starting on April 23.
LEGO DC Super-Villains has seen a number of character and level packs released in celebration of associated movies or films. Last month, the game received DLC inspired by Batman: The Animated Series as a special occasion for the Dark Knight’s 80th anniversary. Prior to that, the game received a character pack that included alternate playable versions of characters from the Justice League movie.
LEGO DC Super-Villains is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
