Another year, another stellar London Fashion Week show from Victoria Beckham, as the likes of Anna Wintour and Billy Porter flocked to the front row to see what designs the former Spice Girl had up her sleeves this time around.
The stars well and truly came out to play as the 45-year-old debuted her Spring/ Summer 2020 collection today at the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Sporting a beige blouse and burgundy trousers, Victoria watched her models strut the runway from the sidelines.
At one stage she appeared to have tears in her eyes, as those gathered were enamoured by the sartorial offerings from the designer.
Vogue editor and arguably one of the most respected figures in fashion Anna Wintour took pride of place on the front row next to Harper Beckham, who sat on dad David’s lap.
As always, Victoria’s family, including Harper, eight, and David, as well as sons Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, and Cruz, 14, had the best seats in the house.
David, 44, looked rather dashing in a smart grey suit and tie, while Harper sported a floral dress we’d like right now.
They were surrounded by an impressive roll call of industry heavyweights, including British Vogue’s Edward Enninful, and performer Billy Porter.
Before the show Victoria took to social media to share some happy snaps with her youngest kid, writing: ‘My number one guest!!! #HarperSeven. #VBSS20starting any minute on IG Live! Xxxx Kisses VB.’
The Beckham’s youngest attended her first fashion week aged just four where she sat front row in New York for Victoria’s show.
Now, well, she’s an old hat at this fashion week thing.
Victoria’s family were by her side, with parents Jackie and Anthony Adams on hand, as well as Victoria’s sister Louise, and David’s mum Sandra.
Other celebrities in the audience included Dame Helen Mirren, Maya Jama and Laura Bailey.
Helen – who rocked a snakeskin print outfit – snuck backstage and snapped some shots with the woman of the hour, with Victoria haring a shot of herself with the Queen actor to Instagram.
Honestly, we’d do the same thing.
Models took to the catwalk in an array of smart designs, with Victoria’s classic cuts including suits in houndstooth, teamed with beige blazers and camel coats draped over models’ shoulders.
The whole thing wasn’t sullied by climate change activists Extinction Rebellion who chose Victoria’s show as the perfect moment to stage a demonstration against Fashion Week outside the venue.
Because her latest fashion collection just isn’t enough, Victoria has also launched her beauty line on the same weekend.
Talk about slashie.
After collecting her breath Victoria shared a shot of herself surveying the crowd on Instagram, as she wrote: ‘Thank u so much to #TeamVB for all their hard work Xxx so many kisses #VBSS20.’
