Victoria Beckham's 'agony after row with Meghan Markle' comes amid Royal scandal

Victoria Beckham was said to be embarrassed after Meghan Markle accused her of leaking stories, according to reports.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly sparked a row between long-time friends Prince Harry and David Beckham after suspecting the footballer’s wife of leaking stories about her.

Their alleged row comes amid Meghan and Harry’s decision to go solo from the Royal family and live in Canada with their son Archie – with the blessing of the Queen.

It’s claimed Posh Spice, 45, has been heartbroken because she fears for her reputation after she has been dragged into the Royal scandal.

A source told Closer magazine : “Vic was mortified when it happened. She and David were both shocked and hurt – so it was hard for her to relive the same feelings after details resurfaced of the alleged leak amid the furore around Harry and Meghan stepping back from the royal family.

“Vic’s now panicking that this could destroy her reputation. She’s been very careful who she keeps close to her in the past for reasons of trust and loyalty.

The development comes after another source alleged Meghan believed Victoria was leaking stories because private details concerning her friendship with the singer were cropping up in the news.

Harry addressed the rumours with his long-time friend and footballer David which was said to have left the Beckham couple feeling mortified.

“Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified,” the source told The Sun .

They were said to have become instant friends in the early days of Meghan and Harry’s romance.

Victoria gave Meghan a list of contacts of her favourite facialists and stylists she might need ahead of her move to London in December 2017 which later appeared in the press.

A source told The Sun: “Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous — and spoke to Harry about it.

“Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David. He quickly put Harry right, and the two men agreed to move on — but it certainly made things awkward for a while. It later turned out the leak probably came from a beauty salon. Afterwards, they got things back on track, but it took a few months.”

David and Harry have known each other for years and worked together on numerous charity events.

The Beckhams were also invited to Harry and Meghan’s star-studded wedding in May 2018.

However, she has later dressed her figure in the Spice Girl’s fashion label.

Meghan said: “What I’m starting to learn is, even though things look amazing on the hanger, it doesn’t mean they’re going to look amazing on me.

“For example I love Victoria Beckham dresses, but I don’t have the long torso to support that silhouette.”
