Victoria Beckham’s latest cover shoot for Vogue Germany is nothing short of stunning, as the former Spice Girl reveals how hard it was to turn down doing the reunion tour with the band.

In the new images, revealed today, Victoria is the face of the ‘suits you’ issue, where her cover shoot sees her rock minimal make up and no clothes, covering up with a suit jacket held in front of her.

She spoke out about how difficult it was for her to turn down the recent Spice Girls reunion tour, instead choosing to focus on her family.

Victoria explained: ‘Saying no requires courage… For example, it took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says, you know, I’m not doing it because things feel different now than they used to.

‘I’d rather concentrate on my family and my company.’

Victoria recently celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary with David and revealed that she is more confident than ever before now that she has turned 45.

She explained: ‘I’m not trying to change, I want to be the best version of myself. Before I turned 40, I wasn’t that confident. I learned to listen to my gut feeling.’

Although Victoria had been vocal about not wanting to reprise her alter-ego, Posh Spice, on tour, fans had expected her to make a cameo or visit the girls to support them at one of the dates.

Mel B was also disappointed to not have the whole band together, saying: ‘I expected her to come and just say hi at least. Not even on stage, just as an audience member supporting…

‘I’m sure she has her reasons for not. I’ve already said, “yeah I was upset”, I still am a little bit.

‘It is what it is and us girls we all support each other no matter what, but yeah it is disappointing.

‘No [it’s not a rift]. We’re all adults, we all have to respectfully get on with whatever. But it is a bit disappointing, let’s put it that way.’

The August issue of VOGUE Germany will be published on 9 July 2019 with a special issue on VOGUE loves Kampen/Sylt.
