Victoria Beckham 'signs up for Spice Girls reunion at Wembley'

“Posh” is ready to join her old bandmates on tour this summer.

The 45-year-old star has agreed to appear on stage at one of their London dates at Wembley Stadium in June.

It will be the first time the Spice Girls have appeared in public as a five-piece in more than six years.

A source close to the group told the Daily Star Sunday: “It’s looking likely that it will be for the second gig at Wembley on June 14.

“It’s not been finalised exactly what she’ll be doing.”

“She has made it clear she doesn’t want the pressure of having to sing live”

They went on: “She has made it clear she doesn’t want the pressure of having to sing live.

“But she’s open to the idea of a dance routine.

“Another option is some sort of catwalk performance in honour of her fashion business.

“When she’s done that sort of thing on tour with the girls in the past it’s gone down a storm.”

Victoria refused to sign up to join Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner on all 13 dates of the tour.

But she has agreed to make a guest appearance as a special treat for the group’s army of loyal fans.

Our source said: “Victoria doesn’t want to commit to the entire tour, but she is still very proud to be a Spice Girl.

“So she wanted to be part of the tour, even if it is only for the one night.”

Victoria has already arranged tickets for loved-ones so they can be there for her special night.

Her husband David and their four children are all expected to attend the concert.

The tour kicks off on May 24 at Croke Park in Dublin.

They will be the Spice Girls’ first live dates since 2008.

Victoria is set to earn an estimated £3million just through sales of official merchandise.

Photos of her appear on T-shirts and hoodies that are already on sale online.

Since the Girl Power band burst on to the pop scene in 1996, the Spice Girls have sold 85million records and racked up nine No1 singles.

Victoria admitted in an interview this year that she would feel “a bit left out” seeing the other girls on stage.
