VICTORIA Beckham has received a barrage of death threats after designing a special gay pride t-shirt.
The 45-year-old fashionista was first bombarded by vile messages in April after Instagramming her support for designer Marc Jacobs and his husband on their wedding day.
So enraged was the former Spice Girl by the homophobic abuse, she decided to produce an exclusive, rainbow font t-shirt to mark Pride month – and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
A friend said: “Victoria has always been a huge champion of the gay community, dating right back to her Spice Girls days.
“Many of her friends are gay, and when Marc got married she Instagrammed a lovely photo of them kissing. She was immediately hit with hundreds of horrendous, homophobic replies and even received several hideous death threats.
“In defiance, she decided to produce this t-shirt and basically say ‘f*** you!’ to the haters.
“She has a round-the-clock security team, and obviously they won’t be taking any chances. But Victoria is her own woman, and won’t be kowtowed by bullies.”
The £90 top – bearing the words “Everyone Deserves Love” – has already proven a hit with fans and celebs.
Victoria – aka Posh Spice – also filmed a video, telling viewers what love means to her and her team.
