Victoria Beckham: ‘Emotional day’ Star addresses BIG moment with husband David Beckham

Victoria Beckham, 45, took to Instagram to gush about her other half David Beckham, 44, as she watched the former professional footballer make an impressive comeback to his old stomping ground in Manchester today. David helped his team to emerge victorious with a 5-0 win against Bayern Munich in the legends tournament, which commemorated 20 years since Manchester United secured the treble, including the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in 1999. Following her husband’s achievements, Victoria posted a series of sweet tributes in view of her 25.3 million followers in support of the iconic sportsman and the club where he made his name. The fashion designer first shared a humorous clip of herself strutting up and down near her seat in Old Trafford wearing a mask to represent the team’s mascot Fred the Red, adding the caption: “Kisses from Manchester #fredthered.”

Victoria then pointed out the more “emotional” side of the match as she wrapped her arm around a family member while watching David on the pitch.

She described the post on her Instagram Story by writing: “Emotional day today in Manchester.”

This evening, the Spice Girls star dedicated another post to David on the social media platform alongside an image of the Midfielder jumping for joy after scoring the winning goal.

Victoria captioned the photo: “So proud to see @davidbeckham back at Old Trafford today!! X

“He’s still got it!!! Kisses x VB @manchesterunited.”

The businesswoman’s fans were quick to comment on her post, with many attempting to persuade her to encourage David to re-sign for Man United after his amazing performance.

One wrote: “Can you persuade him to re-sign for United please?”

Another Man U supporter added: “We need him back! He was brilliant!”

A third replied: “Defo still got it! Convince him to come out of retirement.”(sic.)

A fourth agreed: “What a goal totally agree he has still got it!!!! So happy that he scored, brilliant.”

A fifth wrote: “He certainly has, loved seeing him back at the Theatre Of Dreams.”

Last week, David dedicated a heartwarming Instagram tribute to Victoria just before her Spice Girls band mates embarked on their UK tour.

The football star opted to share a throwback snap of his wife in a black PVC outfit from the set of the Say You’ll Be There music video with his 55.6 million followers.

He added the caption: “As someone that has lived with POSH SPICE for the last 23 years, I know how emotional today is going to be.

“But I just want to wish all the girls good luck with their amazing tour.

“There will only ever be one POSH SPICE @victoriabeckham @spicegirls.”

Although Victoria decided not to participate in the concerts, David went on to wish the rest of the girls luck in a separate post, writing: “Good luck to the girls today as the tour begins @spicegirls.”
