Victoria Atkins: Hate crime laws 'focused on minorities', not women


Changes to the law related to misogyny “will take time”, Minister for Safeguarding Victoria Atkins has said.

The issue is “very much focused on marginalised or minority groups”, Atkins told the BBC’s Andrew Marr.

“We have asked the Law Commission to look at hate crime more generally and they are looking at misogyny.”
