VICTORIA and David Beckham wore their poppies with pride today as they paid their respects on Remembrance Sunday.
They were joined by their kids Cruz, 15, and Harper, nine, as they observed a two-minute silence outside the family home.
Victoria, 46, posted on Instagram: “Wearing our poppies with pride today! #RemembranceSunday.”
While David, 45, vowed to educate his children on the importance of occasion after an inspiring visit to the Chelsea Pensioners.
The retired footballer was smart in a blazer and white shirt, while Victoria wore a burnt orange roll neck.
He wrote: “Lest we forget.
“This week I met the amazing Chelsea Pensioners. I was so happy we were able to visit them in these especially difficult times for older people and for all charities.
“As so many of us spend today back in lockdown we remember those who gave so much for our freedom. It’s a chance to talk to our children about why we mark Remembrance Day like my grandad taught me why we wear the poppy.
“The pensioners are sad they can’t go out and sell poppies this year as usual, please support them and donate online if you can.”
David is backing The Sun’s poppy appeal encouraging readers to buy more than ever to support veterans amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Beckhams were praised for their public tribute, with one fan calling David a “legend” while another complimented the “beautiful family”.
