Vicky Pattison was ‘super-grateful’ she didn’t end up married to ex-fiancé John Noble after claims he cheated on her.
The former Geordie Shore star opened up about the dark moments after splitting from her ex.
Speaking exclusively to Heat magazine, the 31-year-old said: ‘I always wish he had the decency to talk to us and say he wasn’t happy. Looking back, I was probably really unhappy too, and just masking it, because this year I have learnt what true happiness is.
‘So as cruel as it is, John did us a favour. He wasn’t for me.’
Vicky split from her ex-fiancé John in November 2018 after he was caught cuddling up to another woman on a night out in Dubai.
She had thrown out their wedding plans and kicked him out of the home they once shared together.
‘I always thought that, by now, I would be proper smug, married, have a kid and be living in my family home,’ Vicky said. ‘So when that didn’t happen, it took me a while to come to terms with it.’
The reality star – who’s currently competing on Celebrity Masterchef – seems to have moved on the former couple bitter public feud as she found herself a new Mr Right.
A few months after the split, Vicky started dating Towie star Ercan Ramadan and the pair now live together.
However, Vicky was completely convinced Ercan had left when he abandoned her for a few hours on their trip to Dubai in April.
She probably thought Dubai was cursed at that point.
‘I got really sick on the last night. Because I don’t get sick very often, I got really stressed, like a real drama queen,’ Vicky said.
‘I went to sleep and when I woke up, he wasn’t there. I was like, “I have scared him away – he has left me!”‘
It turns out her new man only went out to buy her some medicine.
After the drama with businessman John, we’re not surprised Vicky was worried about Ercan.
It sounds like Vicky found herself the perfect man.
