Vanessa Sierra has lashed out at comedian Dave Hughes after he claimed that she’d told him that she with her boyfriend of eight months, tennis player Bernard Tomic.
Dave, 50, made the comments on Hit Network’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin Catch Up radio show, saying that Vanessa had made the statement ‘off the record’.
‘It’s fair to say they’ve broken up,’ Hughes he told his co-host Erin Molan, 38, adding that he did not know the reason for the split.

However Vanessa denied she made those comments, posting to her Instagram Stories on Monday: ‘For anyone who listened to Hughesy on the radio I never confirmed a breakup.
‘My initial response saying ‘I don’t talk to media’ does not count as a reply to his DM. Clearly off the record means nothing these days’.

Vanessa also added the hashtag ‘fakenews’, before posting further about the matter on her Instagram, alongside a bikini image.
