Vanessa Hudgens has finally succumbed to getting TikTok and her first ever video is giving us all the nostalgia.

High School Musical reunion, anyone?

Yup, Vanessa really nailed it as she chose High School Musical classic We’re All In This Together and a surprise appearance from her best pal and former HSM co-star Ashley Tisdale.

While Ashley treated us all to that Wild Cats routine at the end of the first movie, Vanessa gave us all a look into what Troy, Gabriella and Sharpay would be doing in 2020 – catching up over a bottle of red.

Fans were quick to react, with one joking: ‘Well I guess Gabriella graduated, discovered wine and never looked back lol.’

Loving the mini HSM reunion, another said: ‘My childhood is restored!!!! Love you Gabriella and Sharpay.’

Seeing the positive in a new time of self-isolation and social distancing because of coronavirus, one fan said: ‘The coronavirus gave us this and im okay w that [sic].’

Oh, and there were plenty more calling for other HSM stars to follow suit. We’re looking at you Troy Bolton.

‘Your move, Zac Efron,’ penned another.

Ashley had been first to post her TikTok in the hope of bringing a little light relief to fans, who are in self-quarantine because of the virus that has quickly become a global pandemic.

She said: ‘If you need to work out while on #selfquarantine try this hopefully this will brighten your day a little!’

It’s not her first HSM-themed video, as she previously recreated an iconic Sharpay scene that instantly brought us all back to 2006.

High School Musical, directed by Kenny Ortega was first released via the Disney Channel 14 years ago.

It got a follow-up movie High School Musical 2 a year later in 2007 and its third movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year was released in cinemas in 2008.

It starred Ashley, Vanessa and Zac – who dated Vanessa in real life for five years and who Ashley has said is her ‘worst ever onscreen kiss – as well as Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman.

Rumours did the rounds of a fourth movie High School Musical: The Wedding was set to be released, but turns out it was all a joke and our dreams of Troy and Gabriella getting hitch wouldn’t be playing out on screen.

HSM director Kenny has said that he would be up for making another movie, but only if both Vanessa and Zac sign up to return.

Please, guys. Please.
