Athlete Usain Bolt has confirmed his girlfriend Kasi Bennett is expecting his first child with girlfriend Kasi Bennett.
Taking to Instagram, the sportsman shared a stunning snap of Kasi while adding the caption: ‘I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE.’
Fans soon flooded the comments with praise and congratulations for the happy couple, who typically keep their romance under wraps.
Prior to the announcement, Usain revealed hopes to have children with his longtime girlfriend ‘in the near future’, following years of enjoying a low-key romance.
He said: ‘Something I’ve learnt is it’s never a good time to have kids,’ he said. ‘It took me a while to figure that out. It’s never a good time. You just have to buckle down and do it. It’s in the near future, so, hopefully. We’ll see.’
Back in 2016, he discussed his romance in an interview with People magazine.
He said: ‘We just got really serious, we are taking it one step at a time. I definitely want a family, though. For me, over the years, I’ve waited because I want to make sure it’s the right person.’
