US rappers Mike Will Made-It and Swae Lee have revealed they were involved in a near-death car crash, but managed to escape with ‘just a couple of bruises’.

Made-It, whose real name is Michael Len Williams II, confirmed the car crash on Twitter on Friday, while sharing photos of the damage to the vehicle.

The 31-year-old producer claimed he and 27-year-old Swae Lee – real name Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown – could have been ‘dead easily’ as he posed alongside the wrecked car.

One side of the car had been completely crumpled in during the crash.

Made-It tweeted: ‘ME & SWAE WILLY MADE-IT OUT THIS MF ALIVE w JUST A COUPLE BRUISES, THANK U GOD.

‘I’M PAYING ATTENTION TO ALL THE SIGNS, 2021 WE TURNING LEMONS TO LEMONADE ALL YEAR…

‘WE COULD HAVE BEEN DEAD EASILY, BUT WE MADE-IT OUT WITH JUST A COUPLE BRUISES.’

Reflecting on how lucky the pair had been, Made-It added: ‘WE HERE FOR A REASON.’

Fans were quick to share their relief that both stars were unharmed in the crash, with singer Charlie Puth commenting: ‘I’m glad you guys are safe!!!!’

It comes after Made-It was involved in a collision in 2016. He later revealed to fans on Twitter that somebody had ran a red light and crashed straight into his car at an intersection, but he came away ‘without a scratch’.

Made-It is best known for producing singles for a number of artists, including 2 Chainz track No Lie, Rihanna’s Love Me, Body Party by Ciara, We Can’t Stop by Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé hit Formation.

His debut album Ransom II features collaborations with Rihanna, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar.

Swae Lee, meanwhile, has worked with the likes of Future, Madonna and Post Malone and last year, he dropped single Won’t Be Late featuring Drake.
