America will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, for the final battle of the US election 2020. The race to the White House has so far seen incumbent President Donald Trump trail behind in the polls, as Democrat rival Joe Biden has secured and maintained a narrow lead in recent weeks. Pundits expect tomorrow’s results to hinge on key issues such as the economy, President Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and social unrest brought on by the death of George Floyd in May.
Earlier this summer, Mr Biden branded tomorrow’s vote a “life-changing election” that will decide American’s future.
Speaking at the Democratic National Convention, he said: “We can choose the path of becoming angrier, less hopeful, and more divided, a path of shadow and suspicion.
“Or we can choose a different path, and together, take this chance to heal, to be reborn, to unite. A path of hope and light.
“This is a life-changing election that will determine America’s future for a very long time.”

Conservative broadcasters, however, believe Mr Biden’s time is up.
Tucker Carlson, the host of FOX News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, said on the weekend: “Certainly if enthusiasm is any measure, Donald Trump has a real shot at reelection.
“Massive impromptu parades of Trump voters broke out in Florida, California, Arizona, Texas and New York over the weekend.”
President Trump’s reelection bid has also been backed by another, rather unlikely source: a prominent psychic from Poland.
“I have a feeling he thinks he’s in danger. And I’m not talking about the elections.
“I still have the impression that the world is crawling toward a moment that apart from influential world players, there are practically no international organisations that would be able to significantly control anything.
“This means that we have no force around us to say ‘I’m checking’. Russia is observing what is happening.”
And yet, the latest polls appear to contradict the psychic’s predictions.
According to a nationwide YouGov America poll published on Tuesday, Mr Biden holds a solid nine-point lead.
The poll predicts an electoral college vote of 364 to 174 votes in favour of the Democrat, with the popular vote split 53.2 to 44.3 percent in Mr Biden’s favour.
And according to the latest election forecast by FiveThirtyEight, Mr Biden is “clearly favoured” to win.
The forecast reads: “According to our forecast, Pennsylvania is the most likely tipping-point state, and a lot of Biden’s chances in the Electoral College hinge on what happens in Pennsylvania.
“He leads Trump there by about five points in our polling average, but it’s not as large a margin as Biden might like.”
