UNIVERSAL Studios Hollywood have revealed details of its new Jurassic World raft ride, which features an 84 ft waterfall.
The new attraction will replace the original Jurassic Park ride, which closed after 22 years last year.
Based on the new Jurassic World franchise, guests will travel through the water ride while encountering a number of dinosaurs.
While some are safe, such as the Stegosaurus and Parasaurolophus, other terrifying creatures such as the Velociraptors and Dilophosaurus will hunt those on the ride.
The only way to escape will be via the huge waterfall at the end of the ride – a whopping 84ft tall.
The attraction will also include a new Raptor Encounter area where guests can interact with Blue and her beta Raptors.
A new Dino Play area will also be available for children who want to take part in excavations and discover dinosaur fossils.
The new attraction is set to open later this year, with the official date for 2019 yet to be revealed.
The previous Jurassic Park ride opened in 1996.
It featured anamatronic dinosaurs and a soundtrack by film composer John Williams.
Avid fans waited up to three hours on the last day to experience the rides one last time when it closed last year.
The original Jurassic Park ride remains open at the Universal Studies in Orlando and Osaka.
Rumours have suggested Orlando is set to open a fourth theme park by 2023, with lands featuring Jurassic Park, Fantastic Beasts and Lord of the Rings.
Other new rides this year include the new Alton Towers Dungeon, which will see guests travel by boat through the spooky setting.
A £37 million theme park is also set to open in the UK next year as part of Gulliver’s Valley Resort.
