Today, esports organization Unicorns of Love announced that it has raised an investment from Hamburg-born businessman and investor Tomislav Karajica. The investment is made by Karajica’s real estate and project development company Home United, which is also the owner of Austrian soccer club SK Austria Klagenfurt and investor in German fourth division soccer club FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin. Furthermore, Karajica supports the German first division basketball club Hamburg Towers through his companies Edeloptics and Imvest as sponsors.

As part of the partnership, the parties will create an esports space in the Home United-owned coworking space Hamburg Ding at Nobistor in Hamburg’s popular neighborhood St. Pauli. Moreover, Unicorns of Love revealed that “the construction of a gaming house is also well advanced in the planning stage.“

Unicorns of Love is a family business, which was founded in 2013 by Fabian Mallant, a professional League of Legends coach, and is managed by his father and CEO Jos Mallant as well as sister and general manager Vivien Mallant. Currently, the organization runs six teams in four games, including a League of Legends team in the German Prime League, a feeder series for the League of Legends European Championship (LEC).
