Ulrika Jonsson has opened up about the breakdown of her third marriage and how being on her own helped her to find herself. At 54, the TV personality said she did not expect to be starting a new chapter in her life.
The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star was married to American advertising executive Brian Monet from 2008 to 2019.
The couple have one son together, Malcolm, 13.
Ulrika, who has been married twice before, is also mum to Cameron, 26, Bo, 21, and Martha, 17, from previous relationships.
She said that although it was her decision to end their 11 year marriage, it was “absolutely devastating”.
Following her divorce two years ago, Ulrika told The Sun: “We will continue to co-parent as brilliantly as we always did but from different houses.”
The TV personality was previously married to cameraman John Turnbull from 1990 to 1995.
She later wed to Lance Gerrard-Wright in 2003, after meeting on TV show Mr. Right, which she was presenting and he was a contestant on.
The former couple were married for three years.
Last night, Ulrika attended The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards 2021 at London’s Roundhouse.
She chose a three-quarter length black dress with puffball sleeves before posing for pictures on the red carpet.
The newspaper columnist teamed her dress with a collection of necklaces and coordinating hooped earrings.
The mum-of-four wore her hair in a sleek, low ponytail and enhanced her good looks with elegant make-up.
Beige pointy slingback heels completed her glam look.
