Ulrika Jonsson has revealed she’s had sex for the first time in five years.
The TV star and ex-model, 52, said the experience was “like losing my virginity all over again”.
Ulrika announced she had split from her husband Brian Monet in April 2019 after 11 years of marriage.
In a new column about her sex life, she described the relationship as a “devoid of intimacy”.
But now her “five-year haitus” has come to an end following a date with a mystery man.
Mum-of-four Ulrika wrote how she began dating someone new who approached her on social media. They went on to have sex following a date.
Ulrika’s confession comes after she had given up on any hope of ever having sex again.
The star wrote in a column in The Sun: “Yes folks, at the age of 52, after a marriage set against a barren sexual landscape and a five-year hiatus – I have had sex.
“To be honest, two years ago I had no expectations of ever having sex again.”
She described her self-worth was “lower than a tart’s knickers”, but said the new sexual experience showed she had “had not forgotten how to ride a bike (euphemism, for sure)”.
Ulrika said the moment was like “like losing my virginity all over again – except this time I felt much more in control and considerably less scared”.
The star, who was born in Sweden, shot to fame as a weather presenter before hosting Gladiators and becoming a team captain on panel show Shooting Stars.
She won CelebrityBig Brother in 2009 with 57% of the vote.
Ulrika has been married three times – to John Turnbull, Lance Gerrard-Wright and Brian Monet. She also dated footballer Stan Collymore.
Ulrika appeared on First Dates last year.
She has previously written about body hang-ups, posting on Instagram last month: “T*ts. Boobs. Knockers. Whatever you call them. I’ve hated mine since before they arrived.
“Mainly because they were late and unexpectedly big. So much so that they would often enter a room minutes before I did and made me feel fat and cumbersome.”
