UFO sighting: '50ft alien robot' spotted in Area 51 Google Maps image – claim

Eagle-eyed  life conspiracy theorists have purportedly found evidence of an extraterrestrial robot in a brand new Google Maps photo. The aerial image seemingly shows an odd structure nestled in-between buildings at the controversial United States Air Force (USAF) base.

The black construction’s humanoid shape has led self-styled ET expert Scott Waring to claim it is a robot built by aliens.

The exact coordinates of the verified Google Maps photo are 37°13’26.26″N 115°49’2.37”W.

Mr Waring took to his UFO Sightings Daily blog to speculate about the apparent alien anomaly.

He said: “Guess what? When I was searching Google Earth today I came across something that is really strange.

“I found a 16m dark figure in Area 51 and there seems to be another to the right of it, but shorter.

“When I checked through the past photos of that location, I notice that the figure actually moves onto its side, then changes its poses in each photo. It actually moves.

“Now, perhaps some USAF soldier is playing around for years doing this.

“Or perhaps Area 51 is experimenting with 16m-tall robots that could one day be used in combat missions.

Area 51 is a location frequently associated with alien conspiracy theories.

And this is not the first time Mr Waring has claimed to have discovered evidence of aliens on Area 51.

Only last month the UFO hunter claimed to have uncovered an “underground alien base” at the military compound.

He wrote at the time: “I was using Google Earth map at Area 51, when I came across an underground base.

“This base has three entrances, one large 45ft (18m) by 27ft (9m).

“And two other smaller ones. There are air ventilation pipes coming out of the largest one and two pipes coming out of the top of the hill.”

However, although aliens have clearly not taken-up residence in Area 51, what actually is taking place there is just as interesting.

Peter Merlin, an aerospace historian said: “The forbidden aspect of Area 51 is what makes people want to know what’s there.

“And there sure is still a lot going on there.”

This likely involves designing improved stealth technology, advanced weapons, electronic warfare systems and unmanned aerial vehicles
