To get the money off, hungry diners need to fill up their online basket with their meal choices as usual.

Then when you go to the checkout stage, you’ll see an option to add in a promo code.

Type in YUM10UK and the £10 off will be applied to your spend.

The only catch is, it looks like you need to be a new Uber Eats customer to get the discount.

We spoke to one customer who had never used Uber Eats before, and she successfully made the deal work.

She managed to get an individual pepperoni pizza at Pizza Hut, made up of six slices, plus a 500ml Pepsi and portion of chips for £2.99, including delivery.

Without the code, this would have cost £12.99.

The discount is also being reported on LatestDeals.co.uk where other people are posting their cheap meals.

One user said: “Great deal… used Pizza Hut. There was a service charge and delivery fee but still under £4.”

Another person said: “Mighty Bucket for One meal, regular coleslaw, garlic mayo dip, £0.18. LIFE IS GREAT.”

According to LatestDeals.co.uk, the offer is valid until this Wednesday, February 26.

We’ve asked Uber Eats to confirm if there is a minimum spend and we’ll update this article when we know more.

The Sun is also checking if the discount includes delivery fees, which range between 99p and £3.50 depending on how near you are to the restaurant.

If you don’t already have it, you can download the Uber Eats app for free on the App Store and Google Play.

It wasn’t such good news for Uber Eats users last December when a discount code wouldn’t work.

Last year, we reported how Uber Eats is rumoured to be plotting a subscription service that nets you unlimited free food delivery.

Uber lost its London licence for a second time in November over safety concerns for passengers.
