Sugar Hill Javan has shut down Eddie Hearn’s claims they have been ‘problems’ in Tyson Fury’s camp.

The Gypsy King hired Sugar Hill after parting ways from previous trainer Ben Davison ahead of his rematch with Deontay Wilder this Saturday in Las Vegas.

Fury changed coach less than two months before the fight and Anthony Joshua’s promoter Hearn has suggested there was trouble behind the scenes.

David Haye backed up Hearn’s claims in fight week, but Sugar Hill has a long-standing relationship with Fury and hit back at the Matchroom boss.

He told Metro.co.uk: ‘Let what Eddie Hearn say be true! Fu*k it. Let Eddie Hearn live a little bit.’

Sugar Hill was speaking just moments before a lively press conference on Thursday, which saw Fury and Wilder hurl insults at each other.

The rematch between Fury and Wilder is being billed as the biggest heavyweight clash in the last 30 years, but fight fans will be hoping an even bigger bout follows this weekend’s blockbuster.

Three-belt champion Joshua has promised to make an offer to the winner in a bid to finally organise an undisputed heavyweight showdown.

Fury has repeatedly played down Joshua’s recent comments, while Sugar Hill insisted the British heavyweight was irrelevant in comparison to Wilder and his fighter.

‘AJ who?’ a smiling Sugar Hill said when asked about Joshua’s stake in the division.

‘This is definitely, 100 per cent, the fight to decide the best heavyweight in the world.

‘Doesn’t matter what Anthony Joshua is doing, this is for the heavyweight championship right here.’

Both Fury and Wilder are predicting knockouts and the former told Metro.co.uk this camp was the first time he had concentrated on knocking an opponent out.

The British heavyweight easily outboxed Wilder in their last fight in 2018, but was knocked down twice by the WBC champion and had to peel himself off the canvas in the final round.

‘We’ve changed the game plan because the last one didn’t work,’ Fury said. ‘It’d be crazy not to change it. Even if it’s the 12th round, I’m going for the knockout.’

‘This is the first camp I’ve ever concentrated on knocking someone out,’ he added. ‘Camp has gone very well.

‘I’m still here, still kicking and I can’t wait for Saturday night.’

Fury worked with Sugar Hill and his uncle Emanuel Steward at the start of his career when the legendary trainer predicted Fury would become champion world.

Sugar Hill was selected as Davison’s successor due to the Kronk Gym’s famous knockout style, which was famously used by Wladimir Klitschko. Former world champion Andy Lee was also brought onto the team, having been the one to reunite Sugar Hill with Fury.

The American coach admitted the lack of work Fury had put into his knockout blow was noticeable during training camp – but warned against anyone writing off Fury’s punching power.

‘Tyson punches better now,’ Sugar Hill said.

‘It was visible in camp [that he’d never worked on punching before], Tyson said it too. I do know Tyson and I know that’s something he never really worked on. It’s something he needed to do.’

He added: ‘People think Tyson talks a lot, but most of the time he backs it up. I’m just waiting to see it.’
