Tyson Fury has labelled boxing promoter Eddie Hearn ‘a w*nker’ and ‘a clown’ after he implied that the Gypsy King had suffered problems in his training camp ahead of facing Deontay Wilder.

The two heavyweights go head-to-head in their rematch in Las Vegas on Saturday, with Hearn changing his prediction from Fury to Wilder after he ‘heard a few things in the camp and stuff like that’.

Lineal champ Fury – who switched trainers ahead of the fight – reacted angrily when the comments were put to him and says Hearn, who is Anthony Joshua’s promoter, is just trying to use his name for publicity.

In an interview on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, Hearn’s comments were brought up at which point Fury interjected: ‘I’m going to stop you right there, Eddie Hearn is a w*nker.

‘Stop you right there, I don’t care what he’s got to say.’

Asked if Hearn talking about a training camp he’s not a part of is annoying, Fury continued: ‘Not really, the man’s a clown. I don’t care what he says, who he says.

‘He mentions my name to keep relevant, to keep his fighters relevant, which that’s up to them.

‘Let them do what they’ve got to do, everyone’s got to live their own life, everyone’s got to work their own career. So that’s it.’

Pressed on what the issue is between Hearn and Fury, the heavyweight added bluntly: ‘No idea. No interest either.’

Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum was also asked about Hearn’s comments, telling iFL TV: ‘I don’t know what he’s hearing. I’m here, I know everything. My guys are in every minute that I’m not in, so what the hell is he talking about? Eddie Hearn runs from the mouth.

‘I’m sure he heard that from “somebody”, you hear everything in boxing. But again you have to be a little cautious about what you talk about and what to say. Who is this guy [his source]? The guy who sweeps my gym? Eddie really has to grow up.’
